Academy Network Manager

Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust

£25,472 - £30,011 pa

 

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and proficient Network Manager to lead the team at the proposed Academy at The Manor School site in Cambridge.

Working within the wider CMAT IT Services Team, you will be responsible for day to day running of the ICT systems at the proposed Academy and elements of the wider Trust network. The role will involve the management and leadership of the ICT staff within the proposed Academy.

The role will be varied and you will also be responsible for managing the ICT budget within the proposed Academy, ensuring that the strategic plan is developed with the Trust ICT Manager and polices are adhered to. The role may require travelling to the Trust’s other Academies, partner schools and/or partner organisations.

CMAT are the preferred sponsor for The Manor School and is already working with the school on school improvement.  Exciting changes are ahead and the Trust is committed to improving standards and raising aspirations at the school and re-invigorating the community as a whole.  The school has already been approved as part of the governments Priority School Building Programme and the £10m rebuild will commence and develop over the next year. You will be key to ensuring that there is a smooth transition for staff and students working with the Trust’s IT Manager on the new design and process.

You should be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience. You will have a customer service focus and will be a team player with the ability to also work effectively on your own, often under pressure. Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills are essential as you will be working within a fast paced and demanding environment.
